Daniel Duval is a French actor, film director and screenwriter. He was born in Vitry-sur-Seine, France on 28th November 1944.

His best films as an actor include François Leterrier's Va voir maman, papa travaille (1978), Sandrine Veysset's Y aura-t-il de la neige à Noël? (1996), François Ozon's Le Temps qui reste (2005), Eric Guirado's Le Fils de l'épicier (2007) and Patrick Alessandrin's Banlieue 13 - Ultimatum (2009), and whose best work as a film director include La Dérobade (1979), Effraction (1983) and Le Temps des porte-plumes (2006).
