François Dupeyron is a French film director and screenwriter. He was born in Tartas, Landes, France on 14th August 1950.

His best films as a screenwriter include Nicole Garcia's Le Fils préféré (1994), La Chambre des officiers (2001), Yves Angelo's Pas d'histoires! (2001) and Aide-toi, le ciel t'aidera (2008), and whose best work as a film director include Drôle d'endroit pour une rencontre (1988), La Chambre des officiers (2001), Monsieur Ibrahim et les fleurs du Coran (2003) and Mon âme par toi guérie (2013).
