Film Synopsis
A Tunisian boy of humble origins, Akim is brought up by his father Yacim,
a faith healer who is convinced of the curative power of plants. One
day, Yacim reveals to his son that he has a unique ability, as his blood
is endowed with the same healing power that pervades the plant kingdom, but
in a more potent form. After his father's death, Akim leaves his home
country and settles in France, where he falls under the spell of the beautiful
Kyera. It isn't long before Akim attracts the attention of others who
are keen to exploit his miraculous healing powers, including a large and
unscrupulous pharmaceuticals company. Faced with a formidable opponent
that he cannot hope to defeat by himself Akim must choose his allies carefully
if he is to survive the ensuing nightmarish ordeal. To kill or to cure
- that is the dilemma he is now faced with...
