Film Synopsis

Hubert Jacquin is having a hard time getting used to being a widower.  Retirement was bad enough, but losing your life partner is even more of a trauma, and Hubert is not sure he can cope with the empty years that lie ahead of him.  Wallowing in depression, he spends his days staring at the television set in his now unbearably large apartment.  Unable to manage the cleaning chores, he decides to get himself a housekeeper, but what he ends up with is Manuela, an exuberant young woman who is looking for a place to live.  Hubert is putty in her hands and within no time she is sharing his spacious abode, in return for helping to keep the apartment tidy.  Before he knows it, the widower has acquired two more flatmates, in the form of Gérard, a man in the throes of a messy separation, and Marion, a young nurse.  Thanks to his new entourage, Hubert acquires a renewed zest for living...
