Directed by Nils Tavernier

Drama / Romance / Musical

Film Synopsis

The Princesss Aurore lives in a distant land where for many years dancing has been outlawed by the tyrannical king, her father.  Yet the princess continues to dance all day long, for the amusement of her mother, the queen, and her brother, Solal.  With his country facing financial ruin, the king decides he must marry his daughter to a wealthy prince.  In honour of this great event, he hosts three lavish balls, not knowing that Aurore has no intention of being sold in this way for his pecuniary advantage.  She is already in love, with a modest painter who loves her in return.  The princess would rather give up her crown than turn away from the man she truly loves...
