Film Synopsis

When he completes his eight year stretch in prison for rape, Max Cady has vengeance on his mind. He soon tracks down the man who put him behind bars, a lawyer named Sam Bowden, and begins terrorising his family. When Max kills his dog, Bowden hires a private detective, Charlie Sievers, to no avail. Bowden finally decides to take the law into his own hands, hiring three thugs to scare Cady away, but the plan backfires...
