aka: Hugo and Josephine

Film Synopsis

Josefin is an enquiring seven-year-old who lives in the lush Swedish countryside with her father, a strict pastor, and her constantly preoccupied mother.  With no one to play with, she is bored to distraction, and her only companion is her parents' grumpy gardener, Gudmarson.  One day, the latter introduces Josefin to his nephew Hugo, who is about her age but very different in temperament.  He is a wild thing who frequently bunks off school so that he can live out his fantasies in the forest.  Josefin takes an instant liking to the curious little boy and decides to accompany him on his adventures...
