Film Synopsis

12-year-old Mitraillette could not be happier.  He lives in the rough suburbs of Paris with his family in Rose City, a housing estate which he would not leave for anything in the world.  He has a special affection for his 16-year-old cousin Isma, who has got himself mixed up with Narcisse, a shady drugs trafficker who uses him as a lookout.  His more serious brother Djibril has set his sights somewhat higher - at 22, he is studying law at the Sorbonne and anticipates a glittering legal career for himself.  As soon as Mitraillette meets Océane, the most beautiful girl at his school, he knows he is head over heels in love.  Finally, he summons up the courage to approach her...
