Film Synopsis

A scientist discovers a ray that has a terrifying destructive potential.  He sets out for Paris, leaving his wife alone with his son.  When the son falls ill, his mother consults a doctor, who diagnoses diphtheria.  The doctor agrees to treat the boy, but only on condition that his mother hands over to him the secret of her husband's latest discovery...
