Film Synopsis

Hubert is the talented editor of an important Parisian magazine.  If he has made a success of his life, the same cannot be said for one of his former friends, Papinou.  One day, Papinou sends Hubert a letter which takes him back many years to when they were both young men.  Both were attracted to Sabine, a young woman they met at a cinema.  Herbert, then just a trainee writer on a local rag, succeeded in making Sabine his mistress.  Determined to win Sabine for himself, Papinou persuaded Herbert to leave the area and make his fortune elsewhere.  Many years later, it seems that Hubert and Papinou have a very different recollection of events...
