Film Synopsis

A renowned scholar falls in love with a young woman and, despite their difference in ages, he believes that she reciprocates his feelings.  He soon discovers that he is mistaken and falls seriously ill.  His wife devotedly nurses him back to health and he comes to realise that she has always tried to do the best for him.
