Film Synopsis

Sandrine lives in Paris in a small hotel and works as a sales assistant, whilst dreaming of a career as a singer.  One day, at her wit's end, she runs into Gérard, an old friend of her brother before he left for Acapulco.  Gérard offers her a room in his home and she gladly accepts.  Unable to find work, she is persuaded by her new friend to take up prostitution.  Gradually, Sandrine begins to realise how much power she has over Gérard...
