Film Synopsis

Paris 1938. Hélène Bertrand is a young designer for the highly respected fashion house of Gigi Grandjouan.  She dreams of a life of passion and adventure, which her fiancé, Paul Perrier, a militant communist, clearly shows no sign of giving her.  Jean Blomart, Paul's colleague in arms, is an altogether different proposition...  Hélène and Jean are enjoying an intense love affair when war breaks out.  Jean enlists and the Germans invade Paris.  When Jean returns, he is appalled to find that Hélène has become a Nazi collaborator...
