Film Synopsis

To the amusement of all who know him, Gervais, a luckless Parisian cop, has spent years trying to bring the notorious gentleman thief Curtis to book.  Every time Gervais gets close to capturing Curtis, the crook manages not only to escape but he also manages to make Gervais look ridiculous.   Then one strange day Gervais wakes up and finds that the whole of Paris is deserted.  The entire population of the city has disappeared!  The entire population?  Not quite, for there is one other person in this abandoned city.  Gervais's arch-nemesis Curtis is still at large.  Despite the odd circumstances, Gervais is still as resolved as ever to put Curtis behind bars...
