Christian de Chalonge is a French film director and screenwriter. He was born in Douai, Nord, France on 21st January 1937.

His best films as a film director include L'Alliance (1971), L'Argent des autres (1978) and Le Comédien (1997), and whose best work as a screenwriter include L'Argent des autres (1978), Bertrand Arthuys's Tom et Lola (1990) and Le Bel été 1914 (1996).
