Film Synopsis
Vincent is a horticulturist. Françoise works in an art gallery. They have been married for two years. A routine life in Geneva suits neither of them, so, knowing that they can never have a child, they decide to leave for the third world in the hope of finding some meaning in their lives. They are ready to leave when they receive a telegram from Algeria asking them to delay their departure and await a further letter. Cooped up in their now empty apartment, Vincent and Françoise begin to reflect on the real motives for their desire to start a new life...© James Travers
